Alexander Devenport B.F.A.
 E-mail:

Alexander Devenport is an artist, illustrator, Video editer, graphic designer and
performer. He graduated from Griffith Collage of Art in 2006 with a Bachelor in fine art, as well as having acquired a diploma of arts, craft and community art in 2002.

For the past 5 years, Alexander Devenport has been the house designer for the Sporting company, UCMMA. In this time he has created the company's posters, fliers, t-shirts, programmes and websites. Prior to this employment, he designed the covers for Ten books, published with Wings Press and designed covers for Good fruit and vegetable magazine from Rural Press in 2008. Devenport has also designed costume for theatre and worked as an art tutor for both children and adults.

In 2009, with help of Josh Levi Galleries, Brisbane, Alexander auctioned off 85 of his works and raised $3,802 towards the National breast cancer foundation, Australia.

Despite working in the past with irony, anti-illustration, abstract, to intelligently construct amazing concepts worthy of the artistic cannon he now paints 'baroque animal personifications' because they look cool.
